Overview

Advanced Modeling and Applied Computing Laboratory (AMACL) was set up in 2007. The main aim of AMACL (Run Run Shaw Building, Room 320B) is to constitute a platform for interdisciplinary collaboration in mathematical sciences and to enhance applied research through collaborative works. Currently we have 24 members in the laboratory, 6 Ph.D. and 1 M. Phil. students. Since 2007, we have published more than 200 academic papers with over 2800 citations in Google Scholar.
Currently our Research Focus: Stochastic Models and Matrix Computational Algorithms in
  • Bioinformatics and Computational Systems Biology
  • Risk Modeling and Quantitative Finance
