Quantum Error-Correcting Codes
Professor Keqin Feng
Quantum error-correcting codes is developed in recent five years by Calderbank, Shor et al. and is important for quantum computing, communication and cryptography. This talk will concern on the basic mathematical conceptions of quantum codes, mathematical methods to constructing good quantum codes by using character theory of finite groups and some open problems.
