Research Interests

My research interests lie in the applied analysis and numerical computation of problems arising from quantum chemistry, wave propagation, multiscale problems, biology, stochastic fluid dynamics, and random heterogeneous media.

  1. Stochastic computations and uncertainty quantification (UQ);
  2. Computing effective diffusivity and KPP front speeds in chaotic and stochastic flows;
  3. Model reduction for problems with multiscale, stochastic, and/or high-dimensional features;
  4. Scientific computation for Schrodinger equation, wave propagation and multiscale problems, Helmholtz equations in random media;
  5. Deep neural network methods for solving differential equations;
  6. Bio-mechanics: modelling and simulation of cell evolution under stress.
